Abstract

ÀÌ ¿¬±¸ÀÇ ¸ñÀûÀº indocyanine green (ICG)°ú ±ÙÀû¿Ü¼± diode ·¹ÀÌÀúÀÇ »ç¿ëÀÌ ´ÙÁ¾ ¿ì½Ä¿ø¼º ¹ÙÀÌ¿ÀÇʸ§¿¡ ¹ÌÄ¡´Â Ç×±Õ È¿°ú¸¦ Á¶»çÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ´Ù.
Streptococcus mutans, Lactobacillus casei, Candida albicans¸¦ Æ÷ÇÔÇÏ´Â ´ÙÁ¾ ¹ÙÀÌ¿ÀÇʸ§ÀÌ ICG¿Í 808 nm ±ÙÀû¿Ü¼± diode ·¹ÀÌÀú¸¦ »ç¿ëÇÏ¿© ¼­·Î ´Ù¸¥ Á¶»ç ½Ã°£¿¡ µû¶ó 󸮵Ǿú´Ù. ICG¿Í ±ÙÀû¿Ü¼± diode ·¹ÀÌÀú¸¦ »ç¿ëÇÑ ±º¿¡¼­ CFUÀÇ °¨¼Ò·®ÀÌ Åë°èÀûÀ¸·Î À¯ÀÇÇÏ¿´À¸³ª, L. casei¿Í C. albicans¿¡¼­´Â ½Ã°£¿¡ µû¸¥Ç×±Õ È¿°úÀÇ À¯ÀÇÇÑ Â÷ÀÌ´Â °üÂûµÇÁö ¾Ê¾Ò´Ù. CLSM °üÂû¿¡¼­µµ À¯»çÇÑ ¼¼±Õ °¨¼Ò¸¦ È®ÀÎÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ¾ú´Ù. ICG¿Í ±ÙÀû¿Ü¼± diode ·¹ÀÌÀú¸¦ »ç¿ëÇÑ ±ºÀº ICG ¾øÀÌ ±¤Á¶»ç¸¦ ½ÃÇàÇÑ ±ºº¸´Ù ´õ ³ôÀº ¿Âµµ »ó½ÂÀ» º¸¿´À¸¸ç, ÃøÁ¤µÈ ¿Âµµ´Â ¿­ Ä¡·áÀÇ ¿Âµµ ¹üÀ§¿Í À¯»çÇÏ¿´´Ù.
°á·ÐÀûÀ¸·Î, ICG¿Í ±ÙÀû¿Ü¼± diode ·¹ÀÌÀú´Â ´ÙÁ¾ ¿ì½Ä¿ø¼º ¹ÙÀÌ¿ÀÇʸ§¿¡ Ç×±Õ È¿°ú¸¦ º¸¿´´Ù. ¿ì½Ä ¿¹¹æÀ» À§ÇÑ º¸Á¶ ¼ö´ÜÀ¸·Î »ç¿ëµÉ °¡´É¼ºÀ» °¡Áö³ª, ÀÓ»óÀûÀÎ Àû¿ëÀ» À§Çؼ­´Â Àû¿ë ÇÁ·ÎÅäÄÝ¿¡ °üÇÑ ¿¬±¸°¡ ÇÊ¿äÇÏ´Ù.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the antibacterial effects of indocyanine green (ICG) and near-infrared diode lasers on multispecies biofilms.
Multispecies biofilms of Streptococcus mutans , Lactobacillus casei and Candida albicans were treated with different irradiation time using photosensitizer ICG and 808 nm near-infrared diode laser. Colony forming unit (CFU) was measured, and qualitative evaluation of biofilm was performed with confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM). Temperature measurement was conducted to evaluate photothermal effect.
In the groups using ICG and diode laser, reduction in CFU was statistically significant, but the difference in antibacterial effect on L. casei and C. albicans with irradiation time was not significant, and similar results were confirmed with CLSM.
Groups with ICG and diode laser showed higher temperature elevation than groups without ICG, and results of measured temperature were similar to the range of hyperthermia.
In conclusion, ICG and near-infrared diode laser showed antibacterial effects on multispecies biofilms, but studies on protocol are necessary for clinical application.
